The perfect gene pool – Dutch champion stallion and performance test winner Grand Prix blood from all sides Bordeaux was the stunning KWPN Champion Stallion in 2009. He then went on to win his performance test in Ermelo and was highly placed in the 2010 Pavo Cup final. His first foals are captivatingly chic with excellent forward movement and outstanding uphill conformation. Most of them have been awarded premiums and all are highly coveted auction lots. Bordeaux’s unique pedigree combines the genes of United, who achieved the highest score ever recorded at his performance test in Ermelo, with those of Totilas’ sire Gribaldi, dressage legend Donnerhall and the successful bloodline of the Olympic horses Rembrandt and Ahlerich. United, who was sired by the 1992 Jerez World Championship contender, Krack C, received scores of 9.5 for trot, canter and dressage ability at his performance test. He is now winning international Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I classes with Edward Gal. United’s dam’s sire, Partout, was also successful at international Grand Prix level with Anky van Grunsven. Great-great-granddam, Adone, is the dam of Nicole Uphoff’s gold medal winner, Rembrandt, and full sister to Olympic gold medal winner Ahlerich and Olympic silver medal winner Amon. Granddam, Leandra M, also competed up to Prix St. Georges level with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Bordeaux is a unique combination of Germany’s most successful dam line and the currently most popular and competitively successful Dutch bloodline
